We made it through a Lenten Journey where the Great Litany of the Episcopal Church called us to examine how our faith journey reflects our engagement with the world around us in what are truly living up to being “trying times.” (To say the least about the ongoing chaos and crisis in our nation.)
We then lived through the initial ecstasy and celebration of Easter in those days of the “Via Lucis,” the Way of Light.
Now as we prepare to move onward with ideas of how our faith journey and the needs around us should lead us towards more “hedge prayers,” we are in the process of figuring out what that should look like and how should we move forward. If, as we claim in practically every theological or spiritual statement we either hear or state ourselves, that “Easter Changes Everything,” then how do we live out that change as it’s needed to be a witness in the difficult times we find ourselves neck deep in?
