According to the news, my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina might become the next ground zero for the ICE / Border Patrol / DHS shit show that we’ve already witnessed in places like Los Angeles, Chicago, D.C. and New York. (And isn’t it “interesting” that this crap only happens in cities with Democratic mayors and governing majorities?)
The Spanish-speaking, Latino church that worships every Saturday in the same church sanctuary where I preach every Sunday is already terrified that ICE thugs will show up in our parking lot while they are worshiping. They, as well as we, need your hedge prayer of protection from the same illegal and immoral crap we’ve already seen too much of.
Of all this continued evil, I’m convinced of one thing more than ever before: Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, Greg Bovino, Stephen Miller, and all the other sycophants and minions in this current executive branch of our government… Had better fear beyond any fear they’ve ever had the day they will stand before our God and their maker – because what they are doing now has reserved a special place in Hell for each and every one of them.
Lord of all Creation, our neighbors in Charlotte – just as those in so many other cities who have been invaded by the evil masquerading as law enforcement – need your protection from the thugs who may soon descend upon our streets creating chaos as they kidnap and terrorize people. Protect us all Lord. And drop your justice like the mighty hand of heaven down on the heads of those who temp their own eternal fate with such lawless evil. Amen.
